AMERICANS LIKE WAR

War Support

You’d think that twelve-plus years of senseless, needless, bloody and costly wars would be enough for most people, and that Americans would be getting tired of war. But no! They still like it. They just can’t get enough of it. Nothing makes their day like a good bombing of a wedding in Iraq, or a drone strike in Syria killing scores of hapless people.

On Wednesday, Obama announced that he was asking Congress to vote to allow him to “use U.S. military force against ISIS.” His proposed authorization would last for three years and would have no geographical limitations.

According to a NBC News poll, the majority of Americans (54%) support Obama’s need to “use force against ISIS”: the current players in the West’s Zionist stage play to vilify Muslims. But not one American in a million has enough sense to realize that conflict in Syria was fomented by the CIA and various US-sponsored NGO agencies to create chaos and thus a pretext for the US war machine to go into Syria and dismantle the government of Bashar al-Assad, Syria’s president.

There is something terribly wrong with the American psyche. They seem to enjoy thinking of themselves as terminators with a license to kill, and the world is theirs to kick around at their whim. It is a psychological malady that has infected the people of this country. For some crazy reason Americans think that they are blessing the Earth by sending their military to foreign lands to kill, pillage and destroy. I guess it has something to do with the weird doctrine of “manifest destiny” (i.e., the US Government is commissioned by God to squash and rule all the nations of the Earth).

Americans complain about the economy and the fact that 1% of the population owns 80+% of the nation’s wealth. But the complainers are too stupid to put two and two together and realize that war is the greatest tool for destroying the middle class and transfer their wealth over to the 1%. There are several other factors, but war is perhaps the biggest and most successful. Trillions of dollars are spent on war, and nearly all of that money goes directly into the pockets of the 1% (and it doesn’t “trickle down”).

In reality Obama doesn’t need authorization to conduct war in Syria or anywhere else … he has already been illegally invading Syrian airspace with planes and drones, and not only in Syria. The president can command the military to attack anyone he wants, for as long as he wants without a declaration of war. It comes under the expanded powers taken by US presidents since the ’50s and the Korean War (often referred to as “the Korean Conflict,” or “the Korean police action”). There was considerable controversy at the time about Truman taking the Executive option to conduct a war without Congressional approval.

So … it looks like Americans will deserve the hard times and the plagues that are coming upon them. The label “Ugly American” is still well-earned. And the universal cry, “Yankee go home!” still echos across the oceans.

One of the plagues falling on Americans is hardly acknowledged by the US press. Suicide in the US military is at an all time high. Ignorant American kids are being sent to wars they don’t understand, to kill people they don’t know, and commit atrocities they can’t justify … all in the name of the US Government. All that senseless blood and gore takes a toll on the consciences of many of the soldiers. Eventually they realize they can’t live with themselves, so they are killing themselves faster than their counterparts are being killed by combat. Obama just signed a $24 million bill to create a new program to address the problem of suicide among military veterans.

Meanwhile, stupid and indulgent Americans back home parrot the idiotic call to “SUPPORT OUR TROOPS!” Yeah … support them by backing a criminal government that sends them to be grist in the war machine that ruins their lives and destroys whole nations.

“Beam me up Scotty … there’s no intelligent life down here!”
