FOX News President, Roger Ailes, who is also chairman of the FOX Television Stations Group owned by Republican-advocate billionaire, Rupert Murdock, was media consultant for Republican presidents Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush and Rudy Giuliani. In 1987 and 1988, Ailes helped George H. W. Bush win the Republican primaries, and then the presidency. After the 9/11 attacks, Ailes consulted with President George W. Bush and agreed with Bush and Cheney that “the American public would be patient as long as they were convinced that the White House was using the harshest measures possible against some declared enemy … even if that declared enemy was not associated with 9/11.”
