The US is the world’s war monger. It foments war and chaos in countries around the world, and then when those countries are weakened and defenseless the US installs puppet governments to benefit international corporations that rape the lands and the people.
Because of US imperialism, a tragedy is playing out in the Mediterranean. Boatloads of people and their little children are drowning daily in the Mediterranean Sea trying to escape war and chaos in their homelands that is fomented by the US and its NATO puppets.
The escapees are purchasing high-priced seats in low-quality, overcrowded rafts … hoping to make it across the Mediterranean to some shore in Europe. The overloaded rafts are being swamped at sea, and the occupants, who don’t even have life vests, are drowning. It is like watching the people jumping to their deaths from the windows of the World Trade Towers on 9-11. And like the tragedy of 9-11, the tragedy in the Mediterranean is being caused by the US.
Is it intentional or out of stupidity that the US is alienating itself and making enemies of almost every nation on Earth?
Do US political and military psychopaths actually believe they can lie, steal, murder, rape and destroy whole cultures and nations and lie about it without repercussions?
In my lifetime, the US has degraded itself to being the world’s main object of hatred and fear. Even its own citizens hate and fear it.
The US and European governments that are causing the desperate attempts to escape to safety, are adding insult to injury by blaming the victims. This ongoing tragedy is ignored and twisted by western politicians and media corporations.
Most of the migrants come from war-torn countries like Syria, Sudan, Libya, and Palestine — all of which have experienced a military campaign either led or sponsored by the US in the last three years. Since 2001, when the War on Terror was declared, the U.S. military’s Special Operations Command (SOCOM) has increased its personnel from 30,000 to 70,000 members. It, along with its sub-commands (the Africa-based SOCAFRICA, SOCEUR, and SOCCENT and CENTCOMM) are actively waging secretive military campaigns in the Middle East.
Between 2014 and 2015, Europe saw a 40 percent jump in the number of asylum-seekers attempting to reach Europe by boat, most of whom were fleeing war-torn regions around the Mediterranean. According to the United Nations, more than 300,000 people have attempted crossing the Mediterranean Sea this year, and 2,500 are proclaimed dead or missing.
