Pastor Ben Williams — 1946–2024
This site is maintained in honor and remembrance of Pastor Ben Williams. He spent his lifetime studying the Holy Bible. Over more than 30 years of researching, writing, lecturing, and teaching, he came to understand that much of what the churches teach is not rooted in Scripture. His mission was to help people climb out of the pit of confusion inherited from religious tradition.
If you’re like most, you’ve probably accepted some church teachings that diverge from what the Bible truly says. Ben’s writings invite you to examine the Scriptures with new eyes—and to rediscover truth for yourself.
The Holy Bible, from beginning to end, presents a struggle—not the mythical battle between God and a supernatural demon as taught in churches, but a struggle of men trying to usurp the place of God.
Jesus has called us into His Kingship—New Jerusalem—but many, blinded by religious institutions, cannot see it. Ben devoted his life to reaching those with “eyes to see” and “ears to hear,” helping people see what has long been hidden in plain sight.
After attending seminary, Ben began his ministry as a traditional church pastor in the 1970s. He later became Assistant Pastor to Sheldon Emry in a national ministry based in Phoenix, Arizona. Like Sheldon, Ben rejected tradition and priestcraft in favor of unfiltered truth. After Sheldon’s passing, Ben returned to his native Northwest and continued his work independently. He believed God led him away from church traditions and opened the Scriptures to him in profound ways.
Ben had a unique gift for dissecting difficult issues. While many Bible teachers fall into mediocrity and recycled doctrine, Ben forged a different path. He refused to settle for conventional wisdom, religious mystery, or political spin. Instead, he pursued unvarnished truth—wherever it led.
In the wake of Sheldon Emry’s death, Ben carried the torch forward—challenging false teachings, state worship, usury banking, and the mythological “Satan” doctrine taught in churches. He also examined foundational institutions like “the Church,” “the U.S. Constitution,” and questioned deeply ingrained beliefs such as “Is Jesus God?” and “Dispensational Futurism.”
God turned a light on in Ben’s mind, and generations of readers continue to benefit from it. His work brings clarity to the Bible and to our world.
American Christian Ministries is committed to preserving and sharing Ben’s work—offering his materials freely to the public. The ministry remains dedicated to “the hope of Israel” (Acts 28:20) and the good news that Christ reigns and breathes life into His remnant.
Editor’s Note:
In the 30 years following Sheldon Emry’s death, Ben continued to grow in understanding. Some of his later writings reflect discoveries and insights that came after Sheldon’s time. Sheldon was always on the cutting edge, open to correction, and passionate about truth—qualities that also defined Ben’s ministry. One foundational doctrine—the truth about the mythical ‘Satan’—was something both Sheldon and Ben studied independently in the late 1970s before ever meeting. Their shared discoveries led to a powerful partnership, and Ben often reflected that if Sheldon had lived longer, he would have continued evolving his understanding just as this ministry has.
We believe this site honors both men’s commitment to the pursuit of truth and keeps alive the spirit of their work for those still seeking light in a world full of confusion.
