TEHRAN – Minister of Science, Research and Technology Mohammad Farhadi hails the recent framework nuclear agreement between the Islamic Republic and the P5+1 group (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany) as a great gain for Iran.
One of the greatest outcomes of the nuclear talks is that the world has now recognized the nuclear Iran, he said on Saturday, according to IRNA.
“All in all, the talks ended in a win-win situation for us. But of course so far only 50 percent of the job is done and further positive impacts will follow a final agreement,” he pointed out.
Farhadi hoped that as a result of the agreement which would open Iran to the world, the Science Ministry will find the occasion to engage in a broader range of activities in cooperation with Western scientific centers.
